I had intended to spend my x'mas holidays in Pattaya and had booked flights on Air Asia. Now I read they change airport in BKK. I browsed thru this thread but all info is on Subha airport and no information on Don Muang airport.

Can some experienced bro give some advice on the procedure in DM airport and how to go Pattaya from there?

About 4 hrs before your flight.


There should be transportation like mini van from Don Muang to Pattaya by the time u arrive old airport. If this service does not exist, then

1) Directly neg with taxi to go Pattaya
2) take a bus/taxi to new airport then take bus transfer to Pattaya
3) take a bus/taxi from old airport to mochit station then take bus transfer to Pattaya
4) take a bus/taxi to victory monument then take mini van to Pattaya
5) Book Mr T, http://www.bangkokshuttle.com/
6) Book http://www.bangkokshuttle.com/
7) Google

It just take an addition 1 hour or 2 to reach Pattaya, dun worry too much.

Hmm.. This is my own opinion..dun flame me.

1250pm flight means shd be there by 11am in airport. Journey takes abt 1.5hr via car. Which means 930am. Like tt..u may wanna consider taking the bell travel bus at 9am. Pick up at 845am fr yr hotel. Will reach airport by 11am. 200bht nia...

you guys should know the thais better than that! When the time comes , someone will come up with an way to Pattaya frm Don Maung. It still f$#king half a year away tll xmas la!

I am a diehard soccer fan. So when my team plays I usually put a small bet on. Makes watching the match more exciting. I plan on going to thailand for 2 weeks breaking the trip into Bkk / Pattaya. The BPL would have started by then and I dun want to miss the games.
