Sorry I'm Cambodian noob, only visited their casino border towns a few times, never been to PP or Angkor. Just observed the contrast when I cross over from Thailand to Cambodia is great and I don't get officials asking openly for bribes.

Just asking how u justify your statement that Cambodia is safer than Thailand? Kow jai mai? Sorry me no speaking the Khmer...

Both countries are the same, just be street smart. Dun kum lan, wear thick gold n walk on the quiet street. Dun count money on the street..... stay humble and dun attract others.

U have not actually been to Cambodia...... an example, rich here have body guards with revolvers or 1 hidden in their cars. BTW, who on earth has a revolver and hangs a poster around his neck stating, "I am armed"? :eek::confused: U need more examples of "guns" on the street?

Thanks Bro Naemlo for clearing things up about Cambodia. Last time was told better not to roam streets of PP at night (dun talk about countryside, even worst!) coz lots of soldiers, police and ex-rebels moonlight as Robin Hood. That was only 3 years ago? Guess things have changed since last elections when Hun Sen & his opponents have reached some sort of deal so country more stable now.

The police in Cambodia is legalized mafia in uniform.

Recently 3 cases, I was driving, amber light I did not stop and move on but was stopped by the police, argued with them and in the end, gave USD2.

Another case, red light, my car stopped but my front tires crossed the white (stop) line. KNN out of nowhere appeared 2 police asking USD2.

Last case, amber light I still move on, the police pointed to me, I fuck care, just drove on. Police LL.

Learnt from the local, police can't do anything even they see your license plate. So most local will ignore these useless police and drive on. :D

A lot of teenagers riding in Cambodia, life is worthless to them, ride around like they own the street and have 99 lives. Furthermore no license, no insurance. Police dun bother abt this group cause they have no money, worthless life. I thought Vietnam is bad but here is worse.

An insight on Cambodia, a developing country......

Lets get back to Pattaya. :D

Toking about patts, as i just started my new thread in matters of the heart section, was surprised to see how quiet this thread is as i know alot of sillyporeans went to patts recently. Care to share FRs? really wanna knoe how it is like in high season there. And also any update on stardice and hollywood disco? is it purely just a clean disco or theres more to it? and also any other upcoming discos to look up for as u guys roamed the streets and chanced upon it?...

From wad i understand lah, the agg bars scene quite saturated liao, nothing fantastic about the new bars coming up althought i enjoyed myself roaming in LK metro more than WS at times. Definitely, the 3K LT pricetag seems to become a permanent figure liao. Tts why i am so unwilling to take gals from agg bars most of the time, rather go hunt at discos....

3k in agg still ok lah. better than those crazy prices in bkk. found a few gems there. at least for me..i dont mind dark skin...machiam like minahs. only thing is e high turnover there. now u see her.. next time may have quitted the scene.

but generally... more relaxing in patts. no crazy rush hours.. can relax by e beach..massage aplenty at 150bht... :D

Majority of Issan are darker skin but there are fair skin gers too. I had a ger from Issan but fair fair.... leaseoflife knows her too. :D She is 1 of the reasons why I am always in Pattaya play golf.

I am a big soapie fan for ages and so naturally I have been BKK guy for years.

Visited Pattaya in the past two years and surprisingly Pattaya had vastly improved. Great for sanuk and other activities as well even it had been really crowded with traffic jam in the peak holiday season. Pattaya is one party town, very relaxing with plenty of fun. I like Pattaya better now from the sanuk tourist standpoint.

BTW, I don't mind skin color either.
