Don't always complicate a simple sentence, a simple word. It is like you are the third bus on the street. You will make it complicated.

I need to sign off now, going for my Muay Thai training cause I have a date with Norice sparring in Thailand.

Norice, move out of the shit city, it is all about drinks and whores. It will do you more harm. Go back to BKK and start your training. See you there.

If this is the case then does SG celebrates Songkran? The answer is "Yes" too  Why will u make an ass out of u n me? :D

As mentioned they dun celebrate CNY like Chinese, but as your wish, make it less complicate then yes they celebrate CNY in Pattaya. Suddenly I asked myself, why bother to celebrate CNY in Pattaya or know whether Pattaya celebrates CNY.

Songkran is the period to go Pattaya instead of CNY.

Yes agreed that just having chinese blood doesn't mean one have to behave like Chinese. However I don't believe I have made that statement.

How different is the celebrations between CM & Patts?

Songkran celebrations in Pattaya is considered mild compared to the celebrations in Chiangmai. In Chiangmai the entire city comes out to play and the main battlefield around the city canal carries on continuously for 2 days from morning to night. In Pattaya the celebrations are dispersed in pockets over various locations. If you have enjoyed the Songkran in Chiangmai.... you might be disappointed with celebrations in Pattaya.

Watch out for LB pickpockets!

Was riding a baht bus when a LB gets on and sits next to me on my left. He moves right close to me and has a file or something that he uses to cover up the space between him and me. Suddenly I feel someone trying to wiggle something out of my left front pants pocket. I look over at him and see his right arm on his lap. Can’t see his left arm. Finally I move a little to the side and look down at the seat between us and notice a tissue lying there, which he had pulled from my pocket. He sees me looking at it and seems to get nervous.

I thought maybe someone on the road had tried to pickpocket me. But later it dawned on me that he must have put his left arm behind his back and reached over and tried to pull what he thought was my money or wallet out of my pocket. He must have been really dextrous. I had heard of gangs of LBs pickpocketing passengers on baht buses but never suspected a sole operator!

Bangkok 'best city for nightlife'

Report from Bangkok Post dated 31 December 2012 :-

Bangkok 'best city for nightlife'

Bangkok has topped the list of the ten best cities for excellent nightlife adventures for travellers, according to a survey by Agoda.com, a leading hotel booking site.

Agoda.com has just released the list of the top ten nightlife cities as chosen by its customers. With New Year’s Eve now upon us, these cities are perfect to ring in 2013, it said.

The results were based on feedback from over 113,000 respondents provided at the end of their stay in the cities. The Agoda.com customers rated the nightlife on a scale of 1-5, 1 being “poor”, and 5 being “excellent”. The top spot was taken by Bangkok, which Agoda.com called "Thailand’s energetic capital known for its tuk-tuks, temples and street food", followed by Dubai, the gleaming desert city in the United Arab Emirates, and Boracay/Caticlan in the Philippines, famous for its white sand beaches and swaying palm trees.

Thailand placed again in the list with Pattaya, the seaside town widely known for its raucous Walking Street and massive influx of tourists looking to blow off some steam, followed by Tokyo, Japan’s neon-lit mega-city that’s home to 13 million people. Thailand’s largest island, Phuket, was next, followed by China’s Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau, the former known for its vibrant architecture and world-class food, and the latter famous for its massive casinos and Portuguese/Chinese cuisine.

Rounding out the list were Taiwan’s modern capital of Taipei, and Bali, Indonesia’s perpetually buzzing island paradise.

I am using Bell Travel to get to Patts from Don Muang. However I have some problem with the return trip from Patts to DM. My return flght is at 0805 am and that means I have to be at the airport by 0600 am, rite? Bell Travel bus does not leave that early from Patts. I have tried asking a few travel agencies to help arrange for the return trip transportation but they tell me most taxis will only go to SVB and not DM that early.

Any suggestions from seasoned bros on how to reached DM in time for my flight?

Have you tried asking Mr T ([email protected] 81-2587716) and PT Taxi ([email protected] 086-3921240)?

You can also consider going to Bangkok and stay a night.

Which hotel are you staying? Have you approached the hotel to help you?
I was in a similar dilemma but I was lucky as there were a few staff from my hotel residing in BKK and they do the daily commute to work. At 5am the hotel driver gave me a lift as he was driving to BKK to pickup the morning shift staff. :D
