Re: Pattaya
It's official! Pattaya's songkran is no1!
http://englishnews.thaipbs.or.th/tat...n-celebration/ But the top three popular places to go for the Thai New Year celebration or Songkran festival are Pattaya (28.3%), Bangkok’s Khao San Road (22.9%), and Chiang Mai’s moat (15.5%). |
Re: Pattaya
Hey bros! Shall be in Bangkok from 17 to 20 April. Thinking of heading to Pattaya on the 20th April. As this is still the Songkran period can any bro advise on the traffic situation from Bangkok to Pattaya?
Would it be so horrendous that I should forget Pattaya and continue to hang out in Bangkok or elsewhere? Thanks for your advice. |

Re: Pattaya
Thanks bros for your kind advice. Bangkok hotel already paid for until the 20th. Not really worried about pattaya being quiet. I can always find something to do.
I'm more concerned about the traffic when I travel there from Bangkok. Do u think there will be more folks leaving pattaya on Sunday the 20th ? If so will travelling from Bangkok to pattaya an easy journey like the normal 1.5 hours. Thanks again for ur help. |
