555, funny one! Anyway most would stay near to walking street as well as those bars area. Priced around 1k baht a night should suffice. u can also stay jomtien beach area but it's a little far from the cheong scene. ;)

More Domestic Flights from U-Tapao to Hat Yai
U-Tapao airport is to introduce more domestic flights to around the South and East of Thailand.

RAYONG – May 29,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 08.30 am at U-Tapao international airport, Mr.Kant Simada was accompanied with Mr.Seree Techatungka-deputy director of Hat Yai airport- and Ms,Chutikarn Suksawas-chief of Kanniti Aviation (Karn Air) to chair the opening ceremony of a new flight route (U-Tapao-Hat Yai) using an ART 72- 500 which can carry 66 passengers.

Mr.Kanti Simada revealed that Kanniti Aviation Co.Ltd had been established in the name of Karn Air and are a domestic airline. The centre of the airline is located in Chiang Mai international airport and they have 10 flight routes consisting of Pai district, ChiangRai, MaeHongsorn, Nan, Pitsanulok, Khonkaen, Hua-Hin,Maesod, Nakorn Ratchasima and U-bonratchathani, plus they had more 7 routes from U-Tapao airport consisting of Chiangmai, Khonkaen, Udornthani, Hua-Hin, Donmuang, Ubonratchathani and Hatyai. They have a Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft that can carry 12 passengers and an ATR 72-500 that can carry 66 passengers.

Ms.Chutikarn Suksawas revealed that they operate under the slogan of “Our Hearts only to Give” and the first flight will go from U-Tapao-Donmuang and Donmuang-Maesod (Return flight) on 2nd June. The flights will cost 490, 590 and 990 baht. Customers can reserve flights by calling 02-5516111, www.kanairlines.com or in Kard Suankaw Central Plaza, Chiang Mai 1st floor.

Karn Air is Thai domestic airline which is based at U-Tapao airport and they intend to increase the amount of flight routes from the South to the East of Thailand by adding HatYai- Pattaya , flight no.K8 5411. The flight departs 08.50am and arrives at U-Tapao at 10.40 am. The beverages will be served during the flight and passengers will be able to get a van from the airport to Pattaya city.

Rayong durians are good, and cheap.

Now is the season, try driving there, can see many durians on sale by the road. best keep driving till you see a giant mock up durian, that is the durian whole sale center.......:)
