Btw we have a angmo here name Blackpage, who travelled across the globe several times a year just to taste Indon hum. Never heard him complaining Btm scary. He even claimed (if my memory serve me right) Btm safer than Msia.

Just be a member and stay there more than 15 nights for the 1st year will do. I am getting used to having nearly everything laid on my doorsteps for convenient reason/s...not a good sign to become adventurous tho. Even registering my sim card took no more than 30 mins today...and i registered 2 sim cards from 2 telco companies today, both were in Nagoya Hill Mall (Telkomsel and IM3). If the queue is long,i would have ask my girls to help me queue, but too bad,it isnt that bad. The guys from Telkomsel even came looking for me when my queue number is almost up,hehehe....good service they have! Thumbs up to Telkomsel!

Bro,you mean Singapore no scams? Hehehe...it is because most Singaporean were familiar with Singapore, hence they feel safer.

What so scary about Batam? You just need to exercise due diligence with whatever you are doing. Food, hotel, beer, girls are cheaper in Batam.

I agreed. Batam even have a Singapore Consulate, like an embassy for Sillyporean in case they get into some trouble. I dont see that in most mongering countries, and even if there is one,it wont be close by. Batam's Singapore consulate is near to Batam,if i dont remember wrong and they are just about 15 min drive to most cheonging places,hehehe... ;)

I agreed with your above points. Over the last one week,i have hear 2 cases of money being stolen by working girls from 2 bros, one lost 50k to 100k rupiah respectively in both times during sleep when he isnt careful, the other case by another bro which happens in Singapore, lost S$200 (only realize after he got home). Which case is worse? Both were 2 different person losing the money, but both were overnight working girls in 2 different countries. I doubt the bro in Singapore report to the police tho (he didnt dare to) becos he has a wife and 2 kids.

When it comes to calculated risk like the case i mentioned above,i feel batam is cheaper too (if thing/s mess up). Even when it comes to bad lousy service, bad deals etc, isnt batam cheaper too? Imagine how much i have to pay in Singapore for bad and lousy services. Scams? Which countries do not have scam/s in these "meat trade"? Next,i look at the price to pay for those scams...hehehe...and then i look at the solution/s. Hence, its one of the reason why i often say, going to Batam is like going to Sentosa (other than the part sentosa isnt a mongering place). Singapore Sentosa should be 90% safe,hehehe...

Anyway, this is just what i have seen with my own eyes. Safety has often been my number one priority. Play safely, come back home safely.

Use your hair dryer to air it.

2hrs ago XE was around 10560
I changed $500 @ 10540/$

I feel relieved, but I will miss the food court. Stopping there at 4am+ to have a juice with a girl found in the dark, to check chemistry and be sure about who I am bringing to my room, has been my SOP for years.

For sure Batam is safer than Malaysia. I am not the only one saying that.
BTW, I had to pay a bribe to KL police a night, when they stopped my taxi and I was with a Viet girl with passport visa expired THE DAY BEFORE (the bribe was to have them leave the girl with me, instead of taking her to jail), but I never had such an experience in Batam.
I feel happy and relaxed in Batam.

What about bringing with you a red phone with the number of your parents? They might come to rescue you, if you get lost.
