If anyone is staying at Batam City Hotel...here's the food menu one can ordered to their room...


...price range quite close to Formosa. More in the price range of Singapore's Zhi Char food store or hawker food store for their food...but NOT their drinks,hehehe...


...but BEWARE,the hotel's 10% service charge. :D

Can order beer too,hehehe...but i think price isnt cheap.

...one last warning to bro from Singapore planning to stay in the above hotel i stayed in,remember to bring a multi-power-adaptor becos this hotel doesnt seems to have a 3 pin plug-in. Actually ,it isnt that they didnt have but such a big room i stayed in,they ONLY HAVE ONE 3-pin plug near the bed area,the rest of it all,were in 2-pin europe-type power plug-in.


Over the last 4 years odd years,this is the 1st hotel in Batam which i have problem with their power plug,and reception CANNOT help me,hehhe.... So i end up buying my own universal multi-plug,which cost almost 120k rupiah from the super market in BCS Mall. :(

*it's a good and no-good choice i made anyway (which i might explain later)

Momo used to be one of the best,but after its gone...this eating place is in my own view, BEST (one of) in Batam. If one knows about Hor Fun in Singapore,you will know that when cooking hor fun,practically every uses the normal eggs from chicken,hehehe....this guy use duck egg. Taste was totally different.

There is this stall called Kway Teow Liang, previously in mitra raya market. The kway teow is well fried and sauce nice. It moves to Pasir Putih market and now had its own stall along Jln Orchard Boulevard. Moves towards where Kaliban hotel is facing and can reach in 5 min by foot. Try it if you are in the vicinity

Last Saturday early morning, a fire broke out in a cluster of ruli housing(illegal tenants) in batam centre. About 600 people and 200 families just lost everything in that instant.

Durian 35k per kg average.
Still, Malaysia durian taste better.
