First time going batam on a long weekend trip with 2 newbies. (Laurel and Hardy)

Departed Harborfront to Haborbay at 1150 and arrived on schedule. Batam Fast was only 50% capacity.
The great thing about it is you can smoke in the sundeck.

Cleared Indo custom in 10mins and bought our necessities at the convenience store and also changed our money at the money charger outside the terminal at 9500.

Next our booked ' unreliable' driver drove us to our hotel called GGi which is just across Harborbay. The hotel was $73 per night which is rather expensive.

Upon arrival we realised the rooms were not ready.. We were told to come back at 3pm to checkin..

So we hopped onto the car and headed to Meximo for wantan mee.

The next hotel i checked out is Biz Hotel...


Superior Room : 400k/night (do not mix this with the economy room,its cheaper)

Deluxe Room : 525k/night

Junior Suite : 670k/night

I remember Biz Hotel also have an executive suite too,but i wasnt exactly very interested. Anyway,for those who use this info,PLEASE DO NOT FORGET to check the website prices before committing yourself to Kaha. They are not always the cheapest (i just checked).

So much for Hotel room price recce from Kaha Travel.

I use Hotels.com to check prices. 2 nights Superior Double Room (sat and sun), total is S$85.28 inclusive taxes. where you book the hotel from...
