Their IC (KTP) cost 300k and 2 weeks to 6 months to receive from "Agent" . The earliest you pay , the latest you receive it.

Let me share additional information on this.

In Biz Hotel, you can walk up & down using the stairs but not for iHotel Baloi. The moment you leave the stairs, you will have to walk all the way down to the ground floor because all respective floor doors are one-way lock. That is can get out from the floor corridor but cannot come in. This is to prevent intruders from hiding in the stairs area to wait for the right timing to re-enter the respective floor. This model of security is similar to Singapore International Plaza building. I once attended a seminar at IP, 33rd floor. At break time, too many people crowded at one toilet and thought that by using the stair to the floor below, I don't have to wait for my turn. Never do I know, I have to walk all the way down to the ground floor. But I did not, I walk to 5th floor, enter the carpark, and use the carpark lift down to ground floor and took a lift up to 33rd floor again. I would agreed with you that it is good exercise and also a lesson learned.

As for bro wanting to stay in iHotel Baloi, you and your buddy will have to go down to the ground floor and together take a lift up to the respective floor again. Alternative is to call your buddy at the respective floor standby to open the stairs door for you each time you want to meet.

My trip has come to an almost end. Now the time to decide if i SHOULD or SHOULD NOT extend another night stay. Reason why i have the thought to extend another night? Girl-wise was the usual good,my meal part? Ok,before i talk about my meal,i need to let myself know that yesterday (15th April 2016),i upgraded myself to the Executive suite (820k rupiah) from the Junior suite (670k rupiah) for free due to the amount of cockroaches i "slaughtered" yesterday (and the day before).


I am now staying in the executive room and it has a kitchen...which i didnt quite use except for the meal i planned to have...hehehe...


...which i still eventually didnt.

Room is at least 30% bigger than the junior suite but for 820k,its definitely not worth its value.(price based from Kaha Travel) In Batam,for 820k..i have much better options when it comes to hotel room type. But for 670k,well...not too bad considered i am staying for the weekend. Didnt quite like the structure of how they do up their room tho.


Notice the gigantic mirror that basically covers the whole room like what L-hotel has on the bedside? Superstitiously,i was afraid it may "eat my soul" while i am bonking my girl,hehehe... *joking* Anyway,i have a much peaceful night sleep (its unlike me to write something in the thread when the sun just rise) comparing to my1st night's Junior suite...well,which means i didnt get much from my bonking last night due to the 1st night's over-exhaustion,hehehe... i encounter things that made my day,i also encounter things that spoil (almost) my day,which i will come to it in my later summary.

I was so afraid that i may forget part of it,hence i am now noting it down for my further reference.

PS : Biz hotel is still worth my stay in this trip even tho i am picking lots of fault from it as most sees right now becos i only mention here the fault and not its good.(I can still find another half a dozen no-good about it which is not mentioned before in this thread) Remember what i say before,if everything is no good or if there's no bad,it is likely not very real and this isnt my summary YET.I am only doing some "pressure-test" for the hotel to see how far the limits it can go since i am "dwelling" in it in this trip. And IF it is all bad,i wouldnt have even think of extending and yet be staying in the same hotel,hehehe...i would have move elsewhere. There are good things for Biz Hotel too,which i will come to it later.

Time to go for breakfast at the 11th floor.

Question to ponder : IF taxi only get 100k comm, doesn't it make sense to get this unreliable driver to bring you around ALL the joints ? Think about it ... What for you save this 100k and start sweating and getting exhausted with all the walking around ? + time factor ... I guess you will be surprised on taxi comm...

if u alone with driver i 100% agree u can save time and energy. BUT in group 3~4 he earning more commission, i prefer to let him earn a lesson .Not big group u can carrot more, sometimes there are overboard demanding taxi fare when we taking more time or going too many joints .;)

No matter how well u nego with the driver eventually u will still lose out .Impossible for u not giving the extra taxi fare and arguing at the roadside.

Maybe the previous time there's some activity going on upstairs like wedding ceremony it's a popular venue. If not usually the breakfast is at the rooftop. I bet you will laugh when you see the "swimming pool" upstairs.

Well, I'm not sure if this is true.. Just something I heard from my ex-regular.

Apparently, my ex-unreliable driver is on a residual commission scheme with the joints he works with. Meaning day 1 he brought me to Goldbird and I take girl A. In future, if I proceed to Goldbird and take girl A again, it does not matter if I take his cab there. He will still get the agreed commission.

How I come to hear about this is that I notice that he's been keep changes "on my behalf" behind my back. So, to cut out of the loop, I used another driver to go pick up my ex-regular. This is when she told me about this scheme.

Now, I don't know if this is true. But, this guy is a very sly business man. In just 5 years time, he's grown from a taxi driver to owning a car rental company with no less than 30 Toyota Avanza in his company register.

Maybe his breakfast regrets to that bundle of instant noodles...
