If i book a cewek. I bring her along with me. Both register at counter. No problem right?

Tell me in whatever language or show me w/o a same/simlar language, it probably goes into only into my head.

But if i am physically involve, understanding the language (or not) or if i speak the person's language (or not), it definitely goes into my heart. ;)

Is it expensive?

Expensive as in is like Singapore ,whereby the delivery cost can cost as high as the food ordered. Example, i order a S$3.50 chicken rice in Singapore, delivery charge is S$3.

Whereas i order a pack of chicken rice in Batam at 18k rupiah, total cost after the chicken rice reach me is 23k/25k rupiah . Cost of the delivery is at 5k/7k rupiah or so.

I ask the question out of curiosity only,hehehe..

Air tickets not cheap.

Yes, air ticket isnt cheap nowaday, especially during the current election period and after which, its close by to Ramadan which starts around 5th May 2019 and later follow by Hari Raya on June.

Thank you for the information.

Shall go there recce later,hehehe...

The reason why i ask becos nowaday i rarely goes to Formosa, and mostly reside around BCS area, and the exchange rate at BCS area and Harbour Bay is serious bad. So getting a good rate in Singapore before i step into Batam is another good option.

(doesnt make sense to take a taxi to Batam Center or Formosa area just to change money)

Cheers!

Their small room base on Singapore standard is quite big actually, and come with a in-room toilet too.

This one you might wish to to talk to mami (tip her too) and then ask her for recommendation. If you been to Singapore KTV night club, you will know the right person to ask for this kind of girls mentioned is often the mami/papi,hehehe...

I usually dont recommend solo person going to KTV,it can be quite boring and expensive if chemistry with girls didnt turn out well or as expected.

This is actually my rush reply as you are heading to Batam today. So forgive me if it isnt a detail one.

Cheers and have a good trip bro.

Travel from Batam to KL

I will have to travel from Batam Nagoya to KL on a Sunday.
Any experienced people may give a good advice on the best way to do that?
I see the following options:

1) Fly.
Contrary to what I wrote before, I found one direct flight on Sunday, with Malindo Air BTH-SZB 11:00-13:20, priced S$145 with 20kg luggage or S$172 with 25kg.
Other flights available, but with connection and not cheaper.
Is Malindo Air considered reliable most of the times about punctuality and cancellations?

2) Horizon Ferry to Singapore HB to HF, then Aeroline bus from HF to KL.
This is my usual way of travelling KL-Batam.
Overall it takes one whole day! leaving 7:30am from HB  to arrive 6pm to KL.
Not cheap anyway: 80 SGD just for ferry+bus, plus overheads.

3) This is what I ask people here: Can I take another ferry from Batam to Malaysia? Where? Then what bus line to KL?
I am pretty sure there are a couple of alternatives, like taking a ferry to JB and then a bus.
I would be grateful is anyone can provide some hints about this, so that I can compare to Horizon Ferry + Aeroline Bus.

Thank you

Grab Food goes to stores and price as per listed...delivery price less than $2...but delivery charges depends how far to travel becos hcm big....:)

foody vn will need a min order of 50k to 100k dong ($3 to $6)and one standard delivery charge of $3 ...:)

Bro, you can take a 90 min ferry via Batam Centre to JB (waterfront). [https://berjayawaterfront.com.my/ferry-terminal/]

Grab to JB bus terminal like Lakin

Lakin to KL (RM 25). Travel time 3-4 hours from JB to KL

At Lakin, pick up a SIM card for internet connectivity. RM 18 for 7 days on Digi

Google your way to your last mile. Beside grab can use MyCar or MULA very cheap

PM me if you need clarification, enjoy your journey

Which is the reason why i try to say a regular Batam traveler shouldnt be needing it as they works about the same as an usb Mobile wifi router (since you asked, how good are they),hehehe...

The same shop that sells sim cards on the right hand side after you step out of Harbour Bay arrival hall sells a usb Mobile wifi router at 500k rupiah, a sim card for 50k rupiah for one day usage and Telkomsel sim card that has mainly Data Only which last about a month at 100k rupiah.

S$8.50 is almost 90k rupiah. So its more like a deal for unsuspecting new Batam visitors,hehehe...

Hmm...perhaps it could also be due to some recent case of some girl/s getting "raped" inside a particular hotel room by a few male guests from a certain country many Indonesian girls in Batam i knew didnt like to serve (from reliable source) ? And it didnt end well for the female victim, thanks to Batam's law enforcer...(words spread far around the Batam hotel industry) :(

One guest from the case was registered, the others involved wasnt.

(i am not saying the case happens in Montigo Resort here)

So i guess they have that new rule for safety reason/s.

Like every hotel, they will attach a VIP code to you and offer you some privileges like late checkout or even express queue to check in. it's quite good actually.

I guess thats how i got my Gold member card in Formosa,hehehe...highest of its class when i stayed there regularly. I like the late check out idea, but almost every hotel i visit allows late check out, hence it doesnt make much difference.

I test out many hotels in terms of service orientation and efficiency, Montigo is one of the above average ones. Most who visit Montigo goes for their seaview ambiance, its room size and their in-room swimming pool. :p

Hmm...Shazam already start screening in Batam, earlier than the expected 5th April...

https://sbf.net.nz/showpost.php?p=18...ostcount=13231

...next should be either Hellboy or Avenger Endgame?

https://sbf.net.nz/showpost.php?p=18...ostcount=13291

...or is it going to The New Mutants? :D

This one is going to be more over the horror side tho,i mean base on the trailer i think there is this possibility. And wont look like the good guy beats the bad guy type of super hero movie.

There are rumors that this movie might be delaying its screen date due to the Disney-Fox deal (Disney buying over Fox). This movie's original screen date is suppose that is suppose to be on September 2018 but well...it got delayed until 12 April and now...hehehe...its rumored that it might get another delay again.

Quote:

It's important to stress that, right now, these just be considered rumors - albeit highly believable ones. In truth, though, the fate of New Mutants could be decided by something very different; the Disney/Fox acquisition. Disney is hoping to purchase the bulk of Fox's film and TV empire, and is only awaiting final sign-off from international regulators. Should everything go as planned, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four film rights will be handed back to Marvel Studios. Disney has pledged that all completed Fox movies will still be released, but would New Mutants count under that promise? Although principal photography is long since wrapped up, these reshoots do seem likely to be pretty extensive. It's sadly possible that Disney will consider Dark Phoenix to be the end of the Fox-era X-Men, and pull the plug on Josh Boone's production.

All this is disappointing news for X-Men fans. Josh Boone truly does seem to be a genuine comic book fan, and he's clearly drawn inspiration from Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz's unforgettable New Mutants run. In fact, Boone originally pitched the film as the start of a trilogy starring the young X-Men wannabes, but that's almost certainly not going to happen. Instead, if this latest report is accurate, New Mutants may not even be released at the box office in the end - if at all.
Not sure how good this movie is going to be...nonetheless, there's going to be some New Mutants and new mutants from the movie mean more good upcoming movies in the days to come,hehehe...
