The chop passport felle suddenly ask me where am I going to.

I was like... I come to your country now at your custom. Where do you think I going to? Halted for 2 seconds lol.

Then I told him my hotel name and that's it.
Wasting each others time.

The NoName bar’s band is equally great as Foreplay’s. I find the drummer in Noname is much better than the one at Foreplay. More expressive with the beats. The guitarist is also better. Overall a great band! Nice to hear live band.

Have you considered GOJEK? I’ve been here for two weeks now. Have used GOJEK all the way. Except for some slight inconvenience, GOJEK is quite affordable. Each trip is about 11,000 to 13,000. I think a full day car rental plus driver will cost you about 500,000. Just a thought

Yea I was often ask too. Normally, i just reply 'For holiday' and that's it.

Normally, 3 out 5 trip i was always asked .. dunno why ...

Maybe should try dress in the way... that make them think that these is less chance to extort you:D

Actually, they are out to get those coming to Batam for business. So, for those going on holiday, there is no fear, just say having holiday in Batam . For business travellers, you will need a business visa or settle with them in their rooms.

grab and gojek both can use but abit problematic when you are at a shopping mall, hotel or ferry terminal. Must walk outside to the main road and wait. butttt very much cheaper than the taxi fares. if in malls hor, text the driver say pick up from carpark the drop off zone, then he will drive in.

Hmm...its not easy trying to find a restaurant that allows smoking inside Harbour Bay ferry terminal itself...


...i used to go to Excelso Restaurant for coffee (which can cost quite a bit) to kill time while i awaits my coming ferry...


...and my friends who just returned to Singapore tells me i could now go to Morning Bakery on the 2nd floor of the terminal, whereby they have an air-con siting area for smokers to dine in,hehehe...


...very innovative indeed and they deserve good business. :D

Remember i went to Eska Massage on Jan 2019 at Harbour Bay Ferry terminal, it was a fairly good 1.5 hour massage but an expensive one with my 50 rupiah voucher,hehehe...the massage cost 300k rupiah (excluding tax).


The package i took up was the Herbal Therapeutic Compress massage whereby beside having the regular Indonesia traditional massage, the massage girl also uses some kind of cloth-wrapped heat ball that consist of some kind of herbs and spice to massage my whole body....


The good part of it which i find them quite innovative is that they actually "blindfold" me after i lied on bed....and that actually fully relaxed my body and mind as the massage goes smoothly along with the soothing music.


Well, total final bill still cost me 300k plus (a bit) rupiah after they added the 21% tax to it (after the 50k voucher discount). All in all, the massage was not too bad and its soothing plus the blindfold idea was pretty innovative (surprised me a bit)...but becos of the price i paid that day, i highly doubt i will be stepping in there again,hehehe... :p

I think hotels were more concern of their own female staffs getting gang-raped by their guests for this incident. I hear of the case too. It's no wonder y female masseuse or female working girls didn't like to serve that race from 'that particular' country, even when they arrive from sg land.

These criminals were lucky the police were corrupted.

i came back to SG while ice they all still in batam but i went back again few days later for another 2d1n & just got back. Just updating some info for u...
