So far, nothing on these notes changing yet. Only thing they wanted to do is print new notes to minus the 000 behind, so effectively, the 100 rupiah will become 1 Rupiah. It did not get pass the parliament.

That was talk on printing 200K rupiah as well, but it did not go down well...

As of now, there is no new talk.

Every Thursday, the bank changes old notes that are out of circulation. Some rare ones are valuable so can keep them.

Side notes: Coins are more expensive to mint now so maybe one reason to reconfigure the denominations. But it is always nice to use funny monies to give away, to solicit interests from the improvised.
