Btw, looks like I will hve to come out from retirement as I met up with my `sifu' who intro Batam/Tanjong Pinang to me 20 over years ago. He wanted to visit Hatyai for the last time but I persuaded him to go to Batam if he really want to `chiong' for one last time and one of the important reason I suggested Batam is bec he is no longer mobile and need a walking stick to move around.
We actually talk about this a few weeks ago and at today's meetup, he told me he went to Batam alone on Monday! He spent a night there and came back on Tuesday. His memory is failing him, thus, what I can gather from him:
1. He took a cab from Harbour front and ask cab driver to intro budget hotel...which driver took him to Hai Hai Hotel. Cab charge is 70k rupiah and hotel stay is 220000 rupiah per night.
2. He went for a haircut for approx 20k rupiah. Barber recommend him a girl for 800k rupiah, which he took but he didn't keep her overnight as she not really his type....but he paid her full amt.
3. Took his meals at foodcourt(walking distance but he cannot remember the name), spending approx 100k rupiah for him and the girl.
In summary, he didn't really enjoy himself as much as bonking is no longer his primary goal(or no longer possible). Now his enjoyment is being with friends for drinking and beautiful ceweks to accompany; maybe a massage or two. He overpaid for taxi and girl(he's now a newbie
) but he's not quibbling.
Thus, he is requesting that I bring him to Batam this coming Monday for a two night stay as this is probably the last time he can `chiong'. I may reduce it to 1 night as 2 nights may be too much for him. I will need to go thru' ur guide again to plan a itinerary for the trip.
In the meantime, any suggestions from u or fellow bros are welcome

My plan would consider the following:
1. Hotel wifi not important; just a good budget hotel near massage, pubs and food courts(he cannot walk too far)
2. He only wants a slim good looking girl to keep him company for drinking sessions. Maybe bring him to KTV or pubs where girls will accompany him?
3. 1 massage session for him for novelty sake...he's a drinker, thus, probably not so important for him
