Honestly,i rarely see tour bus in Batam. Maybe becos i always avoid tourist area and i go everywhere at a relatively odd timing. I dont like crowd.
The only time i see a large amount of tourist was around Ex Vietnam Camp at Pulau Galang. That was the only time we drive by at least dozens of tour buses and surprisingly when i visit a temple nearby where another half a dozen buses was parked outside,i was the only Chinese. Hehehe...i know i am the only Chinese becos i am the only person who light a joss stick and pray there.
I think those tourist looks like Indonesians from other provinces.

Hehehe...to this group of Sillyporean,everything is cheap in Batam. Sillyporean's favourite words used to describe cheap things,they called it "Dirt Cheap" (honestly,nothing wrong with that description tho). Sillyporean are not the 1st time being

Yes,last few trips i saw quite a handful of male PRCs in Batam which surprise me. I heard from taxi driver that they are in Batam to work...hmm...
