Well, I guess with more emphasis on Batam by the Indo gov and massive flow of Sinkie/Msia families.....locals are more receptive towards foreigners now.

Until the downfall of Suharto, I didn't know Indo chinese got such hard life.
I got a distant aunt who visited her indo relatives told me during young time Indonesia chinese don't celebrate CNY.....I was like.....

Yup.....if I order a cold drink....it is usually teh botol.....drink straight from bottle.
I got a pretty weak stomach too.
