Guess those are on business trip to bkk and can't do it in sg due to wife, gf or friend in sg hence cannot book whole day.....and since in foreign land they just spend it, thinking is just a 1 off enjoyment so don't really care about price as it's like 5-10% or lesser of their monthly income..........
China LT also not cheap now, 1500 - 2000 rmb also around 7500-10k baht and yet still many sg, hkg and taiwanese go over and some book for few days
