I thought id share something with you guys. A while back i did a paper on Fraude and Crime in business.

Before you start getting angry that its off topic read the full post : )

It has been suggested that Crime or fraud happens due to 3 Factors.
1. Opportunity
2. Motive
3. Rationalisation

So in batam while bros are cheonging remeber
2 & 3 are always present and we cant do anytthing about it.

2. They need cash thats why they are in this line of work. There is nothing you can do to change this.
3. Rational could be that you were an ass to them or they think if u can afford to spend 1 junta per day in batam on sex you can afford to lose valuables worth 15-20 Juta.

Now whats left is No 1. Opportunity... all of it is in your control, put all valuables in the safe. Deposit others at the front desk.. like big bags or stuff like a laptop that cant fit in the safe. Remember reception is just a lift ride away whenever u need something.

So as soon as you take no.1 tou wont suffer.
