I apologize for quoting your whole post,which i need to becos what you just said above were all correct from my view and i agreed to every part of it.
Stay near or close by to most cheonging places. Eg, if someone new is targeting at massage places,and if he/she is staying around BCS,Sekupang or even Batam center area...well,they are likely to be disappointed.
Move around by foot to familiarize with the surrounding (for beginners). I dont like being held mercy by taxi drivers.
Bargain down, irregardless how low one think the price might be (i was surprise during 2018 that 100k hj and 200k fj still available,hehehe...). This is an Indonesia business culture. Most time,they would often quote a higher price for customers to bargain down.
As for wechat girls,i am not sure. I am no expert on this one but i guess they are for the intermediate Batam cheongster. And my guide/s were meant for the beginners,to help Batam beginner/s get a kick start.
Safety has been my priority in Batam.
