A Delayed FR for my mid dec trip in DS
Stayed at Skylight hotel (Newer and nicer)
Personally i prefer the rooms here compared with Legend. (Normal rooms)
It has bathtub, toilet with close door which most rooms in Legend doesnt have.
Breakfast spread is much better than Legend as well imo. (went to both breakfast at legend b4 on the ground and top floor)
And pricing is cheaper too. 468 vs 538 rmb
KTV @Skylight
Starts at about 645pm with the captains and mommys promoting their super model category first, which is about 3 sets if i recall correctly. Their normal girls will start parading the rooms around like 715-720 onwards.
Supermodel cat is 800 with overnite of 3.5k
mostly are between 500 and 600 cat which is 2 and 2.3k respectively
KTV room damage is about 4k+ less tipping of KJ and waiter. (Took the 2+1 promo henessy)
Felt there is about 400+ girls overall in this joint.
Still have the KJ keeping the phones of the selected girls which is what i like. (Like old CP times)

Also starts at about 640pm after their meeting. (There is barricade now setup after their meeting to prevent us from picking out of their watering hole

According to the mommy, each section will be assign to the floors given to go first, however i still felt 2nd and 3rd floor has better chances of snapping up base on fcfs. (Cos i was placed on 4th floor on another day)
KTV damage is more at about 5k+ without tipping of KJ and waiter with the exact same promo of 2+1 henessy.
Girls selection wise i think is about 800+ or more girls (could also be due to the recent closure of emerald KTV) Dun recall the KJ keeping the girls phone in this KTV.
Cons of staying at Skylight is have to get your girl to book a Didi (Grab) to take to the legend side to get makan and some shopping. Virtually no cash is needed, everything can be paid using wechat money and using CC for like KTV bills, hotels, spa. Even if u go to the seafood pier (About an hr drive from the hotel) everything can be paid using wechat.
Everything written above is base on my personally experience and feel.
