Just go a bit west on Nguyen trai to D5, most things pretty good.
I usually just eat road side store. Cheap and good.

One of my favourite that I go each time I am there is Quan An Phuong Khanh, on 140 huynh man dat (off Nguyen trai in D5) They have very good Lau de (mutton hot pot). Owner is Viet Chinese so can speak Chinese.
The other one is Pho Le at Nguyen trai. A bit expensive at 70k but big serving.
