Just took a trip to batam last weekend and i just wanna share my experience with bros here.
FYI I have not been to batam for close to 10 years becos I never believe these girls can provide excellent service (i am a sucker for service, looks come next). I will keep this report short and simple.
I took the wavemaster ferry service which is currently the fastest way to get there at 45 mins and it is also closest to the city (5 mins).
The driver who took us around is a regular one whom my friends used to engage whenever they are there.
As for food, we tried a few places (nasi padang, yong kee fish soup, fast food, hotel food & windsor food court).
The most expensive one is nasi padang ($34 for 4 pax)
Yong kee cost $25 for 4 pax (soup + 2 side dishes)
Fast food is cheapest at $2.50 per set meal at BFC
At windsor we had crabs, prawn, fish head at $60 for 9 pax (5 dishes)
Hotel food such as fried rice & chicken chop cost bet $4.5 to $6
Depending on individual, the food is just to fill up my stomach and give me energy to bonk ha ha. But nasi padang prices are crazy, more expensive than our food court ones! A no go for me next time.
As for the girls, they are definitely in limited editions at this time due to the close watch by the police. All ktv are close (almost) and prices went up a little (that was partly due to the driver's presence too).
2 Places we went were sedona and permata (hope i spell right).
At sedona, there are about 10 - 15 girls with 3-4 lookable ones.
I was recommended one 18 y.o. with ok looks. Service wise i would give 4/10 cos she's not proactive, play a bit hard to get and eventually i have to push all the buttons myself. BTW i paid 300k. I know its high.
Next day we went to permata where we choose the girls through photo albums. As the demand was high, many were booked out early. So the mamasan show us some of their 400k goods which come highly recommended with excellent service. Left with no choice, i took one of their recommendations. BIG MISTAKE. She was worst than the one I had the first night and eventually I sent her packing even before we had finish our first deed. My friend also encounter similar service from this joint so I should personally ban myself from going there if i ever step into batam again.
I know some bros out there will think why i'm so stupid to kena chop like that but the current situation is definitely suppliers' paradise.
