Hey bro, it's going to be my first trip to Batam and your reviews have been super helpful. I'm also thinking of staying at either of these two hotels but aside from the quality of the hotels I was wondering about the location.

Just based on the map, it seems like Harmoni is nearer to the big mall and somewhat nearer to the area with all the spas (like HK, G1). Planet Holiday looks like it's slightly further from those but nearer to the waterfront. How's getting around Batam and does the extra distance make much difference practically?
