Anyway i just had a very eventful day... in a bad way.

On the way back to my hotel, riding my bike with my gf sitting behind around midnight, was stopped by the traffic police for no good reasons. After some arguments (I speak English, they speak Viet and then they corner my gf and ask for money if not they will not give her back her ID Card), I finally pay them vnd100k and we left in peace....

then just 5 mins later, kenna snatch thief.. they snatch my gf handbag. Fortunately only got US$50 inside... but worth of bag and wallet inside cost more than S$200. In the midst of snatching, the bag was broken already, so in the end the robbers get away with only little money. I gave chase for a short distance hoping they rush till bang into a car or something.. then they turned into a small lane, that's when i stop following them.. bcos they usually ambush in the small lane 2 guys against one... not worth it.

So in summary.. in HCMC.. got to becarful.. can get robbed by the Police and Thief nearly at the same time one! ;-)
