Unlike my situation now, my favorite super market closed for on eve and 1st day of CNY, hence my SOP purchase got stuck and needs to buy my stuffs separately from different Kmart and other supermarket(which is higher in price). Not to mention its not so convenient.
Many money changer is closed, rates not good (best only 11200/SGD, 1st day and 2nd day of CNY).
Luckily i changed a bit more in my last trip at 11500/SGD (Hehehe...still not enough for me to spend).
The 5 color money changers opposite Nagoya Plasa Hotel, only 3 were opened for business.
Everything in Batam should be expected to go back to "normal" in a few more days.
