I would suggest Harbour Bay cuz it's the nearest to town and fastest to reach from SG and less crowded.
Hotel i would suggest Formosa Hotel and book hotel from hotel booking counter when u reach the ferry terminal in Harbour Bay.
All the chiong places are scattered so there is no 1 such hotel close to everything.
On the left of Formosa have Dynasty 99 and opposite have Queen 933.
Both are booking joints.
4th floor of Formosa have KTV also but open 7pm Indo time.
