useful info about Batam. I learned a lot from this thread.
However I didn't read it thoroughly before sailing there.
I sailed to Batam 2 or 3 months ago.
I chose Novotel Batam because I never tried it.
After all, It is much closer to Nagoya Hill Shopping Center
comparing to Holiday Inn Batam...
(And I didn't visit ATALANTA; what a pity)
Anyway I took the hotel shuttle to DC Mall around 8pm. When I was waiting
for the bus I chatted with the staff of Novotel. DC Mall is within the
walking distance from Novotel but they didn't recommend going there
by walking at night. There is no sidewalks along the roads
to DC mall and there is not enough street lamps. Finally I arrived the
DC mall and "Massage 82" is opposite to the rear entrance.
MASSAGE 82 is purely a gals' joint; the girls has nothing to do with massage
(MASSAGE 82 is just a 'brand name'). Entering the Massage 82 you
can see the soft bench with 10 or more gals gathering there.
I chose one cute SYT and paid OKT IDR 250k for 1hr ST.
There is no room in Massage 82 joint, however the "Romance Hotel" is just
next to the door. (I believe they are allied?
)
You can walk in to Romance Hotel and pay IDR 65k for 2-hour stay.
Oh well, I just paid IDR 250k + 65K that night.
The girl and I walked into the room. I wouldn't forget that
the anime film "Finding Nemo" was broadcasting on Batam's local TV channel
that night (Actually I liked that film before).
The chio gal hurried me to the bathroom and she turned on the TV
to watch "Finding Nemo" !! I waited for a while and she
didn't move her eyes from TV. Then she asked if she could wait until
the movie ended. So I waited until the movie ended.
Even though she was not happy after the movie ended. I don't know why.
She doesn't speak English, and I don't know anything about Bahasa & Malay.
I don't know how to communicate with her.
Then we advanced to SOP directly and let her go within 1 hour.
Really not a good experience with that gal.
