Me is newbie to China and been following this thread for a while...
Me and another colleague would like to visit some not-so-commerical mongering areas and find your tips here very helpful.
By any chance, are any of you guys stationed in HZ? If yes, we would like to have the pleasure to meet up with you and maybe have a meal or 2 together.. Of course, mongering is on the table too!
We plan to be up in China around 24th Oct for a few days, purely for leisure to destress from work here. And hope to make HZ our destination.
