Very true – that’s what one of the gals was telling me too. And I also noticed many new gals in all the SNs I’ve been to on this visit. In fact, I requested for a particular # I met almost two months ago at one SN, but another syt turned up. Luckily for me, she looks good and even better than the previous one in performance. I did ask her what happened to the previous gal, but she has no idea since she just arrived only a few days ago. The fact that she was given a recycled number probably mean the other gal is not returning.

That’s a tough one because it all depends what are you looking for and what’s your main criteria. Different SNs became popular for different reasons. For example, JiaLu is very popular with the businessmen and is considered top and one of the most expensive since the hotel is considered the only true “5-stars” hotel in DS (although you can get a room for as low as RMB338/nite, but Executive suite at RMB1200/nite). You will see the car park filled with expensive cars in the early evening, and the gals there can cost as high as RMB1000 for a session. I personally believe it is popular because the Chinese loves “face” and that’s the SN where the businessmen prefer to entertain their clients because of the perceived “class” reflected by its higher price. But I would not personally pay that kind of money, unless I’ve a big company expense account. I therefore only go for the cheapest 400 cat at JiaLu. BTW, many SNs in DS will provide receipts for meals (inclusive of the tips for the gals) due to the competition – allowing the customers to claim the SN sessions as company expenses. However, the gals prefer you pay in cash rather than swipe your card because they get their tips immediately if you pay cash.
For me, I don’t have any favourite SN because I am determined to try out as many SNs as possible, both old and new in DS. Some have been good and some not so good experience. Some with hardwares that left much to be desired (typically due to the Chinese lack of maintenance program), and yet I met real gems at such places – e.g. the old HengJing is still popular and also where I have good experiences at only 258 for 100mins. There are also other older places that offer competitive deal (e.g. 138 for 70mins) and therefore popular with the budget-conscious.
And if you prefer places with better facilities, just head straight to those that are newer or recently renovated. Finding gems at SNs are no different from what you experience at KTVs – a lot has to depend on your luck, but at least at SNs they will usually try their best. Of course, the gals are all very mobile and do hop from one joint to the other. And I will just walk to the SN next door if I didn’t get one to my satisfaction – never had a problem because the last call at most SNs are around 4:00am!
I’m also a loner in DS and I can’t really give a rating other than its perceived popularity based on the crowd I see. And the popularity can be deceiving – for example, I’ve been to one that is obviously very popular base on the crowd I saw when I walked in alone one night for the first time. And yet I saw mainly meaty gals that border on being “pork chops” although they all have one common denominator – that is, big boobs. The Manager then explained to me that the mainly mid-age customers go there because of the big boobs gals, and was surprised that I chose one who was comparatively slimmer and A-size gal. Maybe those mid-age towkays all have flat-chested wives and/or gfs and living out their fantasies at the SN.
