Just some intel on bkk flights to share here. Searched for bkk fares both budget and regular. Got CX return for a steal at $246 direct from Cathay Pacific webbie next weekend return on weekday (if return mon up $325). Cheaper than budget going for about 270-300+ kns, with all restrictions + extras on baggage, seating etc. Only trade off is frequency -only 1 flight daily. My experience is that it's always punctual, as it's connecting to/from HK.
TG was doing $375. Watch out for annual SQ promo about 250+ restricted travel in low Oct period (small time window)
