Fyi, when I stayed there back in the 70s..... there are no locks on the hotel room doors.....that is how friendly and trusting they are with each other.

That is why always keep your belongings in a safe place. Dont think that the hotels are safe like those in singapore. Use the safe in the room if there is one, and the ceweks are not too trust worthy either. For me, I always have use another wallet to keep other currency other than indo money. Never flash other currency around, you are inviting trouble. Also, use a cheap HP when cheonging, less eye catching for those around, and dont wear jewellery if possible. Afterall, you need not flash these to the gals.
