Bro, just get a Simpati prepaid SIM card if there is no need to maintain 2 numbers. For calling Singapore, Simpati has something like SingTel's V019 which is ultra cheap and very reasonable voice quality. To call Sg, just enter 0101765XXXXXXXX where you insert the Sg number in place if X. My ex-girl often use this to call me and we talk for hours. :-)
For internet use, I have notice quite a number of ceweks using XL. Must be cost related. In fact, I have a cewek using 2 phone, Simpati for calls and XL for Facebook. For me, just Simpati.
