7250 is not a very good rate as that's what I got from withdrawing money from UOB's atm, and normally, atm rate is not as good as money changer's. The time which you change money also play a part in the rate. If you arrive here late at night, like 8pm or 9pm, chances are rates won't be good as many money changers are closed and those still operating ones will try to push down the rate.

Usually, I change my money at this shop name Batam Jaya at Nagoya. Their rates are not bad. Most taxi drivers should know where this shop is. If not, just tell them it's opposite Hotel Sari Jaya at Nagoya.
