Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinion on my situation. Rest assured that the very same thing is constantly on my mind too...

Without giving away too much and spoiling the story thus far, Jiamin and I had a long talk before Christmas regarding how we felt about each other and where this was going. As you may recall, I mentioned earlier in the story that her marital status is messy at the moment, as is her personal life. Based on what I know of her so far, she's by nature a very rational person, so all this may very well just be a rebound reflex to what happened between her and her husband. When the dust settles, I don't have realistic hopes that this FWB situation will go on indefinitely.

That said, we also acknowledged our affection for each other which I guess could still continue independently of the carnal connection we have enjoyed so far. We also agreed that realistically, the sexual chemistry we share is so sizzling that it would take a period of time for things to "normalize" such that we can just be special friends in the long run.
